Im looking to get some fertilizer from the store...but I dont know how high or low of ingredients I should go....they all have different levels.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Different brands that work for them? THANKS in advance for the help!

for vegative growth a fert with a higher Nitrogen.. preferably a fert for edible plants.. 12-N 6-p 6-k for example

For flowering a higher K content.. npk 4-6-10 fro example.

Use 1/2 or 1/4 strength and see how they go and then increase if all is ok.. read the label..

I'd recommend an organic fert if you are new to growing. Botanicare, Neptunes Harvest and Earth Juice are organic. You'll be less likely to burn your plants with organic nutes because they are slow release nutes;).

You can get some Fox Farm nutes i got a tri-pack with veg and flower ferts init for 29$ at wormsway, but if u order online it's 39$, ive herd nothing but good things from them i dunno yet i got 3 week till i can use it

Fox Farm soil has Fish Emulsion in it too.

..?
flowering requires high "P"..as in phosphates/phosphorous..not so much "K" as in potash/potassium.
a 'better' flowering example would be 4-10-6

N = Nitrogen 7-9-5
Nitrogen is the first major element responsible for the vegetative growth of plants above ground. With a good supply, plants grow sturdily and mature rapidly, with rich, dark green foliage.

P = Phosphorus 7-9-5
The second major element in plant nutrition, phosphorus is essential for healthy growth, strong roots, fruit and flower development, and greater resistance to disease.

K = Potassium (Potash) 7-9-5 The third major plant nutrient, potassium oxide is essential for the development of strong plants. It helps plants to resist diseases, protects them from the cold and protects during dry weather by preventing excessive water loss.

FOX Farms O 'n F..
A rich blend of organic compost and ocean amendments go into Fox Farm's Ocean Forest Potting Soil. Pacific-Northwest sea-going fish, crab meal, shrimp meal, bat guano and Fox Farm's own earthworm castings makes Ocean Forest Soil provide micro nutrients and other powerful growing applications. Also contains composted forest humus and selected peat moss.
