I'm new to gardening so this will probably sound pretty stupid but here it goes:
I have 2 indeterminate (beefsteak) tomatoes

Do tomato plants keep growing in the vegetive state once they start to flower or do they stop????

My plants are only about a foot tall and start to show signs of flowering . Should I cut these soon to be flowers out to try and promote new veg growth or is it too late? Or will it keep growing while producing flowers? Please help!

they dont do the initial flower stretch and stop growing to flower out liek MJ does. indeterminates will/should continue to grow and fruit/flower(produce) at the same time until they die off either from freeze come fall/winter or by ur own hand. FYI the more u pick the more they'll produce. tis why most folks in short season zones will pick at first blush and finish ripenin them inside to push along the younger sets to finish before freeze.
