I just recently pinched the tops of these two Frankenstein fems. Regular seeds, I let them get big enough that I can stick the tops in 12/12 to determine sex.

I have never grown with hydro, but when I zoom in on your pic, I can see water standing in between the clay pebbles. Does it always stand in there like that, or does it drain out? The sick one looks over watered to me. Can you tell us a little more about your flood and drain schedule?

And lighting. My cuttings are rooting faster since, at Carty’s recommendation, I switched to a different light in veg.

Not necessary to root. I take cuttings, stick them in a cup of nutrient laced water, and stick them straight into 12/12. I sex all my plants like that.
